Best time to go: Copenhagen is nice all year long, whether you prefer to go during the winter when you can find a really picturesque snowy Copenhagen or during the summer when the city enjoys a very nice temperature and the terraces outside are lovely. Either way it will be a great experience. However, if you go during the summer, even though you will find more tourists you can enjoy Tivoli park, which is the second-oldest operating amusement park in the world.
General advice: it is important that you book in advance at the restaurants where you are planning to have dinner.
The recommended hotel is " 71 Nyhavn Hotel” very well located in the city centre next to the lined brightly coloured townhouses on the most famous street of Copenhagen.
Day 1: Arrival After arrival, go for to visit Nyhavn - Just 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Stretching from Kongens Nytorv to the harbour front just south of the Royal Playhouse, it is lined by brightly coloured townhouses and bars, cafes and restaurants. The canal harbours many historical wooden ships.
Recommended dinner at "Madklubben" just a 15 min walk from the hotel. A super nice steak house with a danish touch.
Day 2: City Centre
I would recommend to wake up early in the morning, especially if you are visiting during the winter as it gets dark early. It is a city very easy to see by walking around and everything is very near by. The suggested itinerary is as follows:
The little mermaid - start by visiting the little mermaid as it’s the farthest thing away. This is a bronze statue depicting a mermaid becoming human. The sculpture is displayed on a rock by the waterside at the Langelinie promenade.
Amalienborg - the home of the Danish royal family consists of four identical classical palaces facing each other.
Frederik's Church - popularly known as The Marble Church for its rococo architecture, is an Evangelical Lutheran church.
Christiansborg Palace - is a palace and government building where seats the Danish Parliament, the Danish Prime Minister's Office, and the Supreme Court of Denmark. Also, several parts of the palace are used by the Danish monarch, including the Royal Reception Rooms, the Palace Chapel and the Royal Stables.
Strøget - is a pedestrian shopping area in Copenhagen.
Stop for lunch at "Restaurant Kronborg” and try one of the typical open sandwiches.
City Hall Square
Tivoli Gardens - is a fantastic place to relax after a busy day visiting the city. if you are visiting during the winter, it will be probably dark at this point so the suggestion is to rest at the hotel until dinner time.
Recommended dinner at "Paté Paté” a beautiful restaurant with a surprising wonderful cellar.

Day 2: Christiania
On your last day go to visit Christiania, the famous free town of Copenhagen, is without a doubt one of Denmark’s most popular tourist attractions. It is 20 walk from the hotel.
After you can go for lunch to "Nærvær" at Strandgade with a beautiful outside space and a very nice terrace.
Fly back home.
If you have more days, visiting Lousiana Museum is a paradise for architecture lovers especially on a nice sunny day.
